Sarah and I welcomed a new member of the family today!  We are very excited and can’t wait to see what happiness and surprises our new addition will bring into our lives.  May we present…

… the Cuisinart Pure Indulgence Ice Cream Maker!  I think it looks more like Sarah, but it has my sweet chrome finish.

Okay but really.  It’s sleek, right?  And the fact that it’s called “Pure Indulgence” makes it sound even more luxxxurious.  We scored it on Craigslist for $20 which is AWESOME because these babies normally retail for around eighty buckaroos.  We originally got it because we had this weird and random desire to make ginger ice cream the other week, but now that we have the included recipe book, we’re expanding our horizons: pumpkin pie ice cream, chocolate cherry frozen yogurt, cranberry sorbet… the possibilities are endless!  Needless to say, we’re really excited (hence why I keep talking about it like it’s a baby).  I’ll keep y’all posted when we actually try it out!

And yes, I’ve become that southern.
